I’m a University Assistant Professor in Real Estate Economics and Finance at the University of Cambridge affiliated with the Department of Land Economy and Murray Edwards College. At Murray Edwards I act as Director of Studies.
Additionally, I’m affiliated with the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU).

I hold a PhD in Economics, as well as a bachelor’s and master’s degree in mathematics.

Prior to moving to Cambridge, I was based at the Vienna University of Economics and Business affiliated with both, the Department of Economics and the Research Institute Economics of Inequality (INEQ).

Before that I held positions at LISER (Luxembourg), the ECB (Germany), and the University of Graz (Austria). I had research visits at the University of California Berkeley (US), DIW Berlin (Germany), WU Vienna (Austria), the National University of Singapore (Singapore), the University of Queensland (Australia) and the University of New South Wales (Australia). Additionally, I provided consultancy work to the ECB and GIZ.

My research has been published by Explorations in Economic History, International Journal of Housing Markets and Analysis, Management Science, Real Estate Economics, Regional Science and Urban Economics, Review of Income and Wealth, The Journal of Economic Inequality and The Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics.

I received various awards and recognitions, and acquired multiple research grants.
